Ballet

A classical dance form demanding grace and precision and employing formalized steps and gestures set in intricate, flowing patterns to create expression through movement. Perfect for dancers who love to move gracefully, like slow or classical music, are interested in building a strong technical foundation.

Jazz

Jazz dance originally developed as a response by ballet dancers to more upbeat music. It has continued to evolve with modern musical styles but maintains its focus on strong ballet technique applied in more free-form style. Great for dancers who like upbeat music and are interested in building a strong technical foundation.

Acro

Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context. Acro is a great style for those who love gymnastics, trampoline or flipping around and those looking for an athletic and daring style of dance.

Creative Dance

This program teaches jazz and ballet basics, through creative movement and play while developing fine motor and social skills, coordination and confidence in young movers.

Dance 101

Dance 101 combines acro, jazz and ballet in a class perfect for beginners or young dancers unsure about the style of dance they might like.

Hip Hop

Hip hop is an dynamic and expressive form of dance that incorporates elements of popping, locking and breaking and is typically performed to hip hop, R&B, funk, electronic or pop music. This is a great style to learn some funky moves and have some fun!

Princess Dance

This program teaches jazz and ballet basics, through creative movement and play while developing fine motor and social skills, coordination and confidence in young movers. Princess dance is geared toward lovers of princesses and includes themed movements and activities.

Tap

Time to make some noise! Tap is a fundamental dance style that teaches timing, rhythm and musicality using your body (and special tap shoes) as an instrument. Dancers who enjoy or train in music, are working to develop their timing and musicality and like to make noise will enjoy tap class.

Musical Theatre

Step into the spotlight in our triple threat musical theater classes. Musical theater combines singing/lip syncing, classic dance styles such as jazz and tap and acting to explore the world of musical theater. Dancers who love music, especially from movies or musical theater shows, acting, singing or want to develop their performance skills will benefit from musical theater.

Contemporary

Contemporary dance is a genre of dance that combines elements from various styles, including ballet, modern, and jazz. It's characterized by its fluidity, versatility, and freedom of movement, often incorporating improvisation and floorwork. Contemporary dance prioritizes the mind-body connection and emotional expression, making it a dynamic and expressive form of artistic movement.
